What we do not do

• No analytics or telemetry
• No advertisements
• No selling of user data
• No uploads of browsing history
• No remote storage of cache, Cookies, local storage, or IndexedDB content

On-device processing

SiteReset processes data only on the user’s device when the user explicitly triggers a cleanup action.

• Current tab URL / origin
• User-selected cleanup scope and options
• Local site data cleanup types (Local Storage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, Service Workers)
• Cookies cleanup option
• Optional current-tab reload behavior

Extension settings

SiteReset stores settings locally only:

• Scope (current site / all sites)
• Time range
• Cleanup item preferences
• Click behavior
• Language

Data sharing

No settings or cleanup data is shared with developers or any third party.

Retention

• Site data is removed only when the user runs cleanup.
• Settings are kept in local browser storage until changed, reset, or extension uninstall.
